The villa is one our highest-class villa of the Villa & Charme selection.
This truly magnificent villa is located beyond the hills of Lucca and Pistoia, mid-way Florence (45 km) and Lucca (30 km) in a small charming Tuscan village. Perched on the top of the hill, the villa's private gates are just 200 mt from the ?Piazzetta Giusti?; the famous village square renowned for its charming shops, bars, and the restaurants, where dining in the square is an absolute must.
The location offers easy road access to the white sandy of the Tuscan coast.
The villa is surrounded by a large, well-maintained garden with breathtaking views and ensures privacy.
The garden and the outside areas are fully equipped with several seating areas including a large dining table barbecue and umbrellas.
This beautiful villa has been renovated with great care and offers luxury furnishings affording the highest levels of comfort including air conditioning and Internet access.
The building is elegant, refined and typical, dating from the end of the 1800's, with lounges and a cosy living room with adjacent outside terrace offering unspoilt panoramic views for enjoying romantic aperitif at sunset.
The interior of the villa retains many of the original designs and features many exquisite and chic styles
that preserve the elegant and magical ambience.
Within 100 m a funicular railway runs to Montecatini Terme operating April till October.

| "...The Medieval town is in fact on the top of the mountain. It is called Montecatini Alto and can be accessed by road, or via the funicolare. The town at the bottom is much larger, called Montecatini Terne, and was only established in the eighteenth century as a spar town. What an elegant and luxurious town it is. Very wide streets, beautifully maintained Neo-Classical and Art Nouveau buildings , beautiful gardens, the most stunning spas and hotels. One of them were providing a late morning concert with orchestra playing in the domed courtyard. They not only believe in the curative powers of the water, but in relaxation. To cap it all off; no vespas. Now that the Hydro Majestic is being fully restored, it will be on the scale of many of the spa hotels in Montecatini. We walked the parks (in one was a fabulous modern fountain water wheel consisting of stainless steel funnels that release water into the funnel below which turns the wheel) and avenues to the funicolare, about a couple of kilometres, and then were hauled to the top of the mountain and Montecatini Alto.
It is a beautiful 10 minute trip, with the car on tracks being pulled up the mountain by a cable. We stood outside on the front deck, and passed through woods, and cuttings through the cliff. At the top we did a photographic circuit, including a walk into the town where we got the surprise of our lives. As we turned the corner into the piazza, there was barely room for one car to pass through the middle. All available space was canvas awnings, shading tables and chairs set up out front of restaurants." |

had seen the description and pictures on the web-site, wi had high expectation the great thing was that the villa turned out to be much above all our expectations!

seem to have invaded this beautiful villa.
This
week two families from Oslo and one from Trondheim have enjoyed this fantastic house, garden, pool - and view!
Seven
children, aged 7 months to 15 years all loved their stay here and happy kids means happy parents.
We
hope to come back some day!
Some
nervours mothers have been afraid that active kids would tear down these historic wolls but luckily nothing has been destroyed.

Hi!
Villa surpassed all expectations! It was indeed exactly like the photos show, however what the photos didn't convey was its scale and perfect position high on the hill with the brilliant valley view below. We were greeted upon arrival, shown around and given all the history and workings of the house then were left alone to enjoy our holiday. Checkout was easy and straightforward and again very courteous. The village was a lovely setting too with about 7 restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk. I would highly recommend this villa!

My family and I had a wonderful time in your beautiful villa and we were astonished by its size, location and atmosphere - it fully lived up to our expectations. At the first glance of the house we thought we had taken the wrong exit ? and couldn?t believe that this was actually the villa in which we would spend a whole week.
Best regards to the staff that gave us a very warm welcome and assisted us as in any questions or problems we might have had.
